We specialise in teaching English to lawyers, tailoring each course to suit your specific needs and current skills.
All of our tutors have spent many years practising law so they know how it works in the real world not just in theory. Our courses take you into the city to visit legal and cultural landmarks, so that you really walk and talk the lessons and learn more than any classroom can teach.
We equip you with a richer, more precise knowledge of language as it is used in the legal system and in business law. Our knowledge is significantly more detailed and up to date than other courses, and gives you a more exact and nuanced understanding of the language in a living context.
All of our teaching is tailored specifically to your needs. The essential elements will be mixed in with modules which match your particular requirements and the area of law you will work in.
If you have a very precise target for your learning, or only wish to brush-up on one defined area, we can design every aspect of your lessons from the ground up to suit you perfectly.
When you don't know exactly what you will need, or you want a general grounding to get you started, we offer a range of courses such as A Taste of English Life: Fully Immersive Training.
Alternatively, you can book legal language lessons by the hour at your office or preferred venue.
Our rates vary from £1,500 per week for A Taste of English Life: one week’s fully inclusive, immersive course, to £50 per hour tuition only.
A Taste of English Life courses offer:
For students preferring to stay in a hotel – there are a variety of local hotels available ranging from deluxe 5 Star accommodation at The Grove to more simple rooms at the Holiday Inn. For students seeking tuition only packages, teacher travel costs will be payable in addition to the hourly rate.
